I am going to sleep with my heating pad tonight. Pretty sore for the last two hours or so and I’m again going to blame the weather. We’ve got another strom – and the potential for a foot of snow – on the way.
But I needed to take a minute to recognize that Feb. 24, 2013 marks the six month mark of the surgery to fix the diastasis symphysis pubis I sustained during the natural birth of our son in Jan. 2012. Based on what I’ve been told, I have six more months before my physical recovery from that surgery will be complete.
I am making great strides. And when things are tough I do my best to remind myself that this is a journey. Thank you for your continued support and encouragement. I truly appreciate it.
Imagine if I make as much progress between now and August as I did in these first six months. The thought keeps me going on the rough days. And it makes me smile on the good ones.
