My posts are a lot lest frequent lately and some of you have asked about this.
I am living proof that no news is good news — at least lately. I have so much to be excited about and so much I want to share but I’ve been busy being healthy.
Here’s my best example of just how healthy.
On Sunday afternoon as I was going about my day, I ran down the stairs. I didn’t think about it at all. No hesitation, no stop after a few steps because things felt unstable. No nothing. I was in the kitchen before it dawned on me what I had just done.
Things are getting more and more like that for me. My husband is off of his crutches and out of his boot and getting stronger all the time. And our Little Guy is just itching to walk like the big kids. He gets all around now by leaning on things, using a push toy or one of our hands. His balance is getting better but he’s not there yet.
So many good things are happening for us. We are lucky. And we all worked hard for it.
I continue to feel enriched by my yoga practice and I am about to kick my physical activity to the next level. I met with the wellness coordinator on campus and got a fitness assessment a few weeks ago. After a snow day related postponement, I got my exercise prescription today. I’m excited to get on a stationary bike and elliptical. There are some conditioning things in my program, too. I’ll build up over time between now and the end of August. I will get my strength back. I will get my muscle back. I am determined.
I have a list of things I want to write about soon and I hope I will have more time very soon.
